Novak Saperavi & Feteasca Neagra

A fiery pairing between the capricious Georgian Saperavi and the brunette Moldavian Feteasca Neagra, born in the hands of renowned winemaker Andrei Novak. Reddish-purple in color, the aroma is enveloped by dried leaves and red beet, followed by ripe blackcurrant and wild cherry, followed by a light whiff of fine tobacco and black pepper. The palate is filled with ripe black cherries with pits, lightly spiced, with medium acidity and soft tannins. The aftertaste is sweet and fairly persistent.

Tasting notes

It has an intense cherry color, a pronounced and complex aroma, a harmonious taste with soft tannins.

Winemaking notes

This premium wine was produced using red wine technology by the coupage method from hand-selected Saperavi and Feteasca Neagră grapes from our own vineyards in southern Moldova. Maturation in cask for at least one year. Needs to be kept at temperatures between +15°C and +18°C.
