Novak Saperavi & Feteasca Neagra
A fiery pairing between the capricious Georgian Saperavi and the brunette Moldavian Feteasca Neagra, born in the hands of renowned winemaker Andrei Novak. Reddish-purple in color, the aroma is enveloped by dried leaves and red beet, followed by ripe blackcurrant and wild cherry, followed by a light whiff of fine tobacco and black pepper. The palate is filled with ripe black cherries with pits, lightly spiced, with medium acidity and soft tannins. The aftertaste is sweet and fairly persistent.
